2006 NIH SciTS Conference

In 2006, the National Cancer Institute's SciTS team, in collaboration with the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Science Research (OBSSR) and the American Psychological Association (APA), hosted the National Conference on the Science of Team Science: Understanding the Value of Transdisciplinary Research in Bethesda, Maryland. The purpose of this two day conference was to bring together experts in team science (particularly transdisciplinary team science) to present an overview of the current state of research about team science and identify priority areas and future directions for the field.
