Postdoctoral Associate - Virginia Tech University

Virginia Tech has an opportunity for a new postdoctoral associate position that provides opportunities for executive level experience at a major research university. This position will be focused on the implementation of destination areas, including research and analysis of the destination area activities, writing research reports and presentations and submitting publications related to destination areas, communication internally and externally about the implementation of destination areas, management of the destination areas website, and management of the stakeholder committees and their progress. This position will report regularly to the Provost to keep him updated on all developments related to the destination areas. The research undertaken by the postdoctoral associate will provide a framework for establishing, implementing, and evaluating strategic cross cutting, multi-function initiatives for a comprehensive research university. A doctoral degree in science, technology, and society, public policy, or a related field is required. For more information on destination areas please see:
