I am interested in developing strategies for facilitating effective team science collaboration and the cultivation of a transdisciplinary intellectual orientation among undergraduate and graduate students, as well as among team science postdoctoral trainees and investigators. I also am interested in refining multiple measurement approaches for identifying, understanding, and enhancing team science processes and outcomes. A particular form of team science that I am especially interested in is transdisciplinary action research, bridging the conceptual, methodological/empirical, and translational phases of TD collaborations among scientists, practitioners, and community stakeholder groups.
